Yes! Your lips are the most sensitive part on your body-they have over 1 million nerve endings. What you initially see when you have your lip treatment is swelling. Lips can take up to 4 weeks to heal, although swelling will begin to subside after a number of days. All lips have asymmetry however during the healing process, further asymmetry may be visible due to swelling although rest assured this is normal and will subside.

Russian lips involve a technique which will use all of your lip space and flattens and turns the lips out to stop forward projection. We encourage anyone who is not happy with their treatment to seek advice and guidance from their treating practitioner. Part of having a treatment isn’t just about the treatment itself, this comes with aftercare which the treating practitioner is responsible and accountable for.
Lottie has a variation of techniques which she uses depending on the expectations and lip shape of the client. If your lips are full with filler or you have migrated filler, it is unlikely you will be able to have one of her signature shapes. Lips which are empty will always have the best result.
Every individual is different and what may give an immediate result on one client, may take several sessions on another. Expectations, results and your journey will be discussed thoroughly at the point of consultation.
A topical numbing cream is used to help minimize pain and take away discomfort. This is applied prior to your treatment and sufficient time is given for this to work. The dermal fillers contain lidocaine which is a local anesthetic that also assists in numbing the tissue layers that are injected.
