You may experience redness, bruising or swelling in the injected area. Healing can take up to 4 weeks, although initially swelling and bruising will begin to subside within days.
Every individual is different and what may give an immediate result on one client, may take several sessions on another. Likewise, what may last 1 year on one client, may only last 3 months on another. This is due to several factors including lifestyle, skin type and metabolism. Expectations, results and your journey will be discussed thoroughly at the point of consultation.
A topical numbing cream is used to help minimize pain and take away discomfort. This is applied prior to your treatment and sufficient time is given for this to work. The dermal fillers contain lidocaine which is a local anesthetic that also assists in numbing the tissue layers that are injected.
